This beautiful piece embodies all the energy and joy that can be had when on a residency in Orqueveaux France. Two weeks in the French countryside, in a town with only 68 people in it, and 27 artists! 

This piece was a study of one of nature's most creative spirits, the Fox. In many stories and lore, the fox gets a bit of a bad rap as being a manipulator, but the fox in energy is more about observation, cleverness, and making your way with the greatest of ease through every challenge and obstacle. 

The fox urges you to do what you know in your heart you WANT to do, take the scary action, do the scary awesome thing. you can face these challenges and you will get through it. You are energetic and spirited and willful, and you'll see it through.

Orqueveaux France, June 2024. It is part of a very limited collection I created while there. A few pieces were finished in Gulf Islands, BC. This was not one of them, this was completed in France.
