Whale - Breathe and Trust - Original Art

One of the first new spirit animals I was connecting with was the whale. 

Through the most tumultuous times in my life, I have had a whale to ride it out with. Through divorce and chaos, through starting new businesses and investing money I felt I could not spare, through any truly scary time in my life, any time that I feel unsure or even alone, I ride through that with the whale. 

The whale reminds us that they can withstand a tremendous amount of pressure and depth, and while that is a great thing, they must also come up for air. Take a pause, take a deep breath, and know that after this the universe will flow you into the right place, the right area for food, the right time to migrate. Trust and flow. Do some of the work always, but never forget to just play and make noise.

This beautiful painting is a small and lovely 30" x 36" with a painted 1.5" gallery canvas edge. It is a wood based canvas, painted with a soft lovely mix of acrylic, gesso, and uv gloss to create that beautiful bold depth and captivating colour blends. This piece although gorgeous in photo is still far more remarkable to behold in person.
